The College was founded in 1964 by the late Rev. Mother Mary Louise with the approbation of His Excellency, the late Rt. Rev Dr. VV. Dereere, O.C.D., Bishop of Trivandrum.The College was opened in the Holy Angels' Convent premises on July 6,1964 with the late Miss Margaret R Paulose M.A., L.T. as the first Principal of the institution and 277 students in the first year of the Pre-Degree Class.

The present strength of the College is about 2000 after the delinking of the Pre Degree Course. Being a Catholic College for Women, its purpose is to give to students of all creeds a liberal education, to train them in the service of God and Human and Country and in such other things in harmony with that purpose.

Dr.Mabil P.S, M.Com,Ph.D, the principal of All Saints' college took charge on 1 April, 2007,after the retirement of Dr.Ester Jayanti J. She envisions not only a continuation of the glorious tradition of All Saints' but also wishes to usher in more innovative pedagogical methods that shall keep in mind a rapidly evolving global educational system
